Pre-Production Task

Before we started filming our preliminary task, we created a storyboard to show the sequence of our short video. We took several photos of the different shots that we would be doing in our final piece and added a few notes about what the camera angle would be, the type of shot we would be using, the script and the different locations for the cast.

The reason we did this was to give us a clear understanding in our heads of what the surroundings would look like, where the camera was going to be positioned at each shot and how long each clip was going to be. We found that this worked well and when it came to creating our video, we had better idea of where to positioned people and the different camera shots. :)
